Jeep safari in Corbett national park is the most popular way for tourists to ExploreCorbett and adjoining areas. Forest of Corbett national park is divided into 7 zones (Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhela, Garjia, Durgadevi, Sitabani and Phato Zone ) for day visit into the park. Corbett landscape is another area which can be explored in day visit, which comes under reserve forest.

About Jeep Safari

Boarding point: Resort at which guest is staying
Jeep Safari Duration: Up to 4 hours from resort to resort
Type of jeep safari: Private (we do not book sharing jeep safari considering the comfort of guest)
Maximum number of travelers allowed in jeep apart from Driver and Guide: 6 adults & 2 children (Between 5 and11 years of age)
Jeep safari price: Indian – Rs.9,000 *Onwards (Depends on location of Resort & Nationality) + 5% GST
Jeep safari price: Forigner – Rs. 12,500 *Onwards (Depends on location of Resort & Nationality) + 5% GST

NOTE: Start/End time of Jeep Safari varies as per the season (Summer/Winter). There is a limitation on number of jeeps allowed in any particular safari zone, so it is advisable to book jeep safari in advance. Only prior registered jeeps with Road Transport Authority and forest department are allowed to enter in any safari zone. No private vehicle are allowed to enter safari zone.

Dos and Don’ts during Safaris

Do during Safari

Always carry a trash bag during safari and do not litter in jungle
One can carry binoculars to explore colourful beauty of bird sear
Wear clothes with earthen or dull colors which are non provoking to wildlife
Keep silent and do not disturb wildlife. Understand the fact that it is their home and we are mere visitors in the forest.
Maintain good / safe distance from animals so that they are not disturbed and you can observe their natural behaviour.

Don't during Safari

Do not carry any fire arm or inflammable material during safari
Smoking or consuming liquor is offence during safari
Do not get down from jeeps or canter while inside national park
Movement of jeeps or canter is restricted on certain roads do not enter on those roads
Playing music, shouting, screaming is prohibited in forest
Do not wear clothes with provoking / bright colors
Do not wear perfumes during safaris as some animals have high sense of smell
